dr Thomais Rousoulioti

Thomais Rousoulioti holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics. She works as a special teaching staff on Linguistics in the Department of Italian Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has worked at the Hellenic Open University and at the University of Nicosia. During the years 2010-2017 she worked in the Department of Support and Promotion of the Greek Language of the Centre of the Greek Language which is a state research center. There she was involved in the design and the implementation of research programs for the teaching and assessment of Greek as a second/foreign language. She has also participated in the implementation of research projects for examinees with learning difficulties, organizing language exams for them worldwide. Her research interests include teaching and assessing language proficiency in multilingual environments, design of teaching materials, adult education, distance learning and inclusive assessment. She is a member of the SIG Steering Group on Inclusive Assessment in Education (AEA Europe), of the Digital Humanities Lab of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, of the Hellenic Society of Applied Linguistics, of EALTA, ALTE, and OsloMet’s EnA research team.
